We’re officially a month into our new relationship with 2018, and so far, we think this is the one!
But we did have a lot of amazing times with 2017, so we’re taking a stroll down memory lane and recapping some of our favorite wedding moments from the past year.
Chesney and Patrick Sallee December 31st at Berg Event Space
We said hello to 2017 with the glitzy, glamorous, and adorable New Year’s Eve wedding of Chesney and Patrick Sallee at the Berg Event Space.
There were so many highlights at this NYE wedding bash that we can’t choose just one favorite moment (so we won’t).
Chesney and Patrick amplified the cuteness factor by bringing in puppies to help greet their guests. Too adorable!! Groomsmen held the furry bundles of joy, who were all available for adoption from Wayside Waifs. This was just one of several ways the newlyweds incorporated charitable giving into their big day.
What would a NYE wedding be without a midnight champagne toast? Flutes were passed along with festive hats, glasses, and glow sticks for the big countdown and midnight kisses, a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Hannah and Chris Schmidt May 5th at Brass
Playful elegance and classic romance defined this stunning affair at The Brass on Baltimore. Hannah O’Toole and Chris Schmidt said their vows in the traditional Tudor Room and followed it up with one heck of a rooftop party for their friends and family.
Wine lovers rejoiced in the guest book experience, which was done “message in a bottle” style for each milestone anniversary year. The best part – the couple also kept a full bottle of the same vintage to toast with in the years ahead!
But if we’re honest, our favorite element would probably be the custom-made gold hexagon chargers rented from UltraPom to dress the tables. These were such a happy find because this popular couple had to fit in so many guests, meaning traditional chargers were not an option. Custom placemats to the rescue!

Kristen Stivers and Michael Rodenberg June 17th at Belvoir
When it came time for the dances at Kristen Stiver’s and Michael Rodenberg’s June 17th wedding at Belvoir Winery, their guests were treated to quite the show!
Kristen and Michael spent weeks practicing their choreographed dance filled with twists and spins. This first dance had everyone grinning from ear to ear, but no one looked happier than the two twirling newlyweds.
The routines didn’t end there! Kristen and her dad also surprised the crowd by starting their father/daughter dance as a traditional slow dance before breaking it down to a mix highlighted with Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars jams. The crowd went wild for the performance, setting the tone for the night’s party!
