So here’s our little backstory… My husband Josh and I launched our event planning business in February 2014 just a few short months after our own wedding.
I spent most of my life in fundraising and event work, dreaming of the day when I would open my own event business. After working alongside me at several events during our courtship and engagement, Josh found that he also enjoyed the logistics of events (and he is darn good at it too!). After we got past the beautiful craziness of our own wedding, Josh did the behind-the-scenes work of setting up our business legally while I continued a full-time event planning position. Once everything was officially in place, I made the transition from my J.O.B. and have been living this dream ever since!
Now that our sweet little business is off and running, Josh keeps himself busy with a sales job by day. By night, he takes on the role of CFO, idea wrangler, and general sanity-keeper for Chappelow Events. He continues to work alongside me on-site at several of our events. I serve as the go-to planner for all of our clients and provide most of the creative, crafty services for our decor projects (Josh is grateful that my family loves to craft with me too!).
Most importantly, you should know that we take your happiness and success very seriously. We love the variety of clients we get to work with through this business and especially enjoy it when clients turn into friends (they often do!). Your happiness is truly our happiness :)
